This historic cry marked the beginning of the fight for freedom and the creation of a sovereign nation, governed by its own laws and customs, breaking free from the foreign yoke that had subjugated the country for centuries.

Today, in the 21st century, the spirit of independence resurfaces in the heart of Mexican boxing. This sport, which has brought numerous glories to the nation, seeks to free itself from the constraints and limitations imposed from abroad. Specifically, it has focused on regaining its autonomy and shedding foreign control over the registry of professional fights in Mexico.

Boxaldia.com has been vigilant of the movements made by a group of passionate Mexicans dedicated to boxing, who have undertaken the monumental task of giving birth to RecMex, a platform that aspires to grant recognition and autonomy to Mexican boxing. Surprisingly, this editor, without legal authority in Mexico, has become a figure who dictates rather than suggests, affecting the decisions of Mexican local authorities. Non-compliance with these impositions can result in fights not being included in the platform.

In response to this situation, the independence of Mexican boxing from boxrec.com will begin to take its first steps in early 2024. A new and promising portal, not yet visible to the public, has advanced professionally and efficiently, thanks to the support of top-level systems engineers. The Presidents of the Boxing Commissions have already started sending their reports on fights that were not registered by boxrec.com, paving the way for the autonomy of Mexican boxing.
